How to sync COROS with Apple Health

Yes, one way. The COROS iPhone app writes steps, heart rate, sleep, walking/running/cycling/swimming distance, workouts with active energy and, since app 4.0 (July 2025), resting heart rate during sleep to Apple Health.

Key caveats: HRV, VO2 max/Running Fitness, training load and recovery stay in the COROS app, and COROS documents no GPS route or sleep stage export.

After setup

COROS writes to Apple Health when the watch syncs with the COROS app, so data shows up after the next watch-to-phone sync rather than live. The link is one way, and workouts recorded before you connected are not backfilled.

Avoid double-counting

If you also use an iPhone or Apple Watch, Health may get steps, distance and heart rate from several sources. Health app → Browse → Activity → Steps → Data Sources & Access → Edit → drag COROS to the top → Done; repeat for Walking + Running Distance, Active Energy, Heart Rate and Sleep. Keep the device you wear most for each metric on top.

Put COROS first in Apple Health

  1. Health
  2. Browse
  3. Activity
  4. Steps
  5. Data Sources & Access
  6. Edit
  1. Open the Health app and tap Browse.
  2. Choose a category and a data type, for example Activity → Steps.
  3. Scroll down and tap Data Sources & Access.
  4. Tap Edit, then touch and hold the handle next to your device’s app and drag it to the top.
  5. Tap Done. Repeat for other data types you track with more than one device, such as Active Energy or Walking + Running Distance.

The source at the top wins when several write the same data type. New apps and devices are added at the top automatically. Apple Support ↗

COROS not syncing to Apple Health?

COROS data is not showing in Apple Health

Sync the watch with the COROS app first, then check COROS → Profile → Settings → 3rd Party Apps → Data Sync → Apple Health and Health → profile → Apps → COROS that the data types are on.

Old workouts are missing

Only activities recorded after you connected are written; COROS does not backfill history.

Update the COROS app; resting HR during sleep was added to the Apple Health sync in app 4.0 (July 2025).
